Dr. Sketchy's: Contortionist Ekat in a Tribute to the Olympics

Ekat was amazing! She definitely made it into my top 5 favorite Dr. Sketchy's models.

I'm running low on pages in my sketchpad so I used some tax forms and my Glamour renewal notice for some of the 1 or 2 minute poses.

I drew a lot of cute faces - unfortunately until the very last drawing, none of them were actually hers.

This one is my favorite.

This one is my other favorite.

Bioshock Big Daddy

I finally got pressure sensitivity to work on my HP tablet. It took a complicated sequence of driver deleting and restoring and restarting. I really wanted the "hack" noise from Bioshock to play when it finally worked.

Lady Gaga

I got a tablet laptop. Attempting to get it to recognize pressure sensitivity is not going well. Getting my various settings to work at all is interesting. Curse you Apple for making a tablet that doesn't meet my needs in any way. Curse you Modbook for being too heavy & hot.

PC-ness aside, I like the size/weight/heat output of the HP a lot so far. The way it switches from portrait to landscape mode is my favorite thing about it so far.

Dr. Sketchy's: Dante Posh & Nik Sin in a tribute to Moulin Rouge

Nik Sin as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec & Dante Posh as Marie-Charlotte.

This Dr. Sketchy's session was so insanely crowded Paigey & I wound up in the back with me having to get a folding chair from the bartender. There were people on the stage, people drawing while standing, etc. It was the most crowded Dr. Sketchy's I've ever been to. Our only recourse was to drink slightly too many French martinis.

She was wearing pasties, in case you didn't click on the blog post and have no idea what's going on right there.

I liked this one.

Later I started this last one in Photoshop to make up for the lack of any decent 10 or 20 minute drawings.

Borders

I colored in a sketch from Jan's Drink N Draw so I could play with borders.

Full Moon (again)

Retooled my Brushes painting slightly so that it's now a continuation of my Pac Man vs. Nature series I did back in college. Thanks Fred, for thinking the little guy was possibly Inky! He wasn't, but I realized he should be.

My (oh so much older) Pac Man paintings:

(I've been meaning to dig it out of my old college stuff and photograph it properly in much better lighting and with more than 1 megapixel. Today is not that day.)
